Mary is a Realtor with Century 21 Agate Realty in Gold Beach.
She is currently a Board Member of the Curry Health Foundation, a Board member of the Rotary Club of Gold Beach where she has served as Rotary President and Past District Governor. She was a founding member of the Pistol River Concert Association. In addition to these civic activities, she also volunteers with Friends of the Fair and the Snack Pack Program.
Often called the Mayor of Pistol River, Mary knows almost everyone. She is the hall's main contact for rental and has steered many lucrative opportunities in the direction of the club. Mary can diffuse heated situations, and tum them into respectful conversations where both parties feel they have been heard. Under her leadership the Friendship Club has thrived. With her boundless energy, and common sense, Mary can lead with grace, wit, and charm.

Eleanor Foskett Pistol River Resident Since 2018
Currently retired, Eleanor's work experience includes 35 years in management and technology with Intel Corporation, as well as an additional five years managing patient experience and volunteer services at O'Connor Hospital in San Jose, CA.
In addition to serving on our board, she currently serves as President on the Board of Directors for the Curry Health Foundation. In 2019/2020 she was the driving force behind a Pistol River estuary preservation and improvement program.
Eleanor is a detail-oriented no-nonsense business professional that strives to keep our friendship club moving in the right direction. She is a gentle soul that listens before she speaks. She will always pitch in to help wherever she is needed. No job is beyond her, too small, or menial. If our group becomes fragmented, she is the glue that brings us back together.
VICE-PRESIDENT
Ron Crook
Ron retired as Curry County Fair Manager in 2017 after serving in that position for more than 40 years. In addition, Ron is a cattle rancher, helps manage a large family timber company, and vacation rentals.
As Fair Manager, Ron was instrumental in creating a comprehensive plan and saw the completion of many large projects. As a result, the Curry County Fair became the first small fair in Oregon to become a Gold Medallion Fair. Ron is a long-time member of the Pistol River Cemetery Board, the Curry County Fair Friends, and formed a group responsible for getting the lodging tax passed in May of this year to help support tourism in Curry County.
Ron brings a wealth of local knowledge to the Friendship Club. His creative ideas, ability to form a consensus, and willingness to pitch in wherever needed make him an invaluable member of the club.
GRANT PROJECT CHAIRPERSON
Deborah Reynolds
Deborah is the newest member of the Pistol River Friendship Hall Board having moved to the South Bank of the Pistol River in December of 2023.
Deborah worked for the City of Fortuna for ten years achieving the title of River Lodge Conference Center Manager. Duties included, scheduling events, setting up events, catering, managing employees, building maintenance and more.
In July of 2014, Deborah and her best friend, John Crotty purchased a small fishing lodge on the South end of Lake Almanor in Plumas County. Together, they turned Quail Lodge Lake Almanor into a thriving business before the Dixie Fire burned the entire small community of Canyon Dam, including Quail Lodge and Deborah’s home.
While operating the lodge Deborah and John volunteered with the Almanor Fishing Association (AFA). AFA is a 501c-3 and the longest-running fish pen program in the State of California. In 2016, Deborah and John started a Veterans Fishing Day on Lake Almanor (which continues to this day). They were instrumental in youth fishing days in Plumas, where every fourth grader in Plumas County received a new fishing rod. Deborah managed the website for the Almanor Fishing Association, annual membership renewals, and created the annual Fisherman’s Newsletter promoting the Lake Almanor Community.

Currently retired, Marian was formerly a senior buyer for an aerospace company, serving in purchasing for over 25 years. In addition, she was licensed real estate agent from 2002 to 2014. Her civic activities includes the following: member Salmon Run Ladies Golf, past Handicap Chair; Sun Hills Ladies Golf board member for 10 years, social committee for 5 years; Women in Business Board member for four years; Yearbook Coordinator, Event Planner, Treasurer of Sun Hill Ladies for 5 years and member of Committee for Women Empowered Conference for three years; Junior League member for 20 years, board member and New Member Mentor, Marketing Chair, Co-Chair and Chair of Casino Night Fundraiser averaging $35,000 raised each year; and a member of Women Council of Realtors as board member for two years, and Treasurer for one year.
Marian brings valuable business acumen that allows her to focus, with laser precision, at the heart of an issue. She can quickly define a project and envision the shortest path to completion. While others may get lost in the weeds, so-to-speak, Marian is able to take a broad view and envision the path to success. She is organized and projects positive energy making people want to work with her.
